X-Air360  is a new company in the process of setting up marketing for various "Modular", "Reversible" and "In Flight Adjustable" Variable Pitch Propeller and Fan Hubs for Hovercraft and Airboat application. We have many years in Hub Designing/Developing and are now moving forward to make them available to the public. Different Hub sizes are being developed to adapt many "small and large" readily available Prop and Fan blade types, as well as different Hub configurations to accommodate different user applications such as "Rotating Shaft” or “Rotating Hub” designs.

We presently have a 2 blade prop (Rotating Hub) design available for the “IVO Prop Paddle Blades”. This Hub expands the standard 84” IVO Paddle Prop Diameter to an 8’, Modular, In Flight Adjustable, Reverse Thrust, Prop Diameter.

We also have a 49.7" diameter, "16 blade", "Modular", "In Flight Adjustable", (Rotating Shaft) Hub design to accommodate the Multi-Wing 5Z Fan blades... a popular blade type for Hovercraft Lift Fans which are also used for thrust on smaller machines. This Hub can accommodate different number of blade configurations up to 16 blades while keeping the same standard Multi-Wing Hub diameter... so no modifying of existing fan shrouds is required.  The advantage of being able to remotely set the pitch to "any degrees" within the operating range of the blades via any type of linear actuator can not be overstated. We show an easily available electric linear actuator in the above image.We are looking at adapting other types of Multi-Wing blades, as well as smaller Hub diameters for applications requiring the smallest hub diameters possible for a given blade configuration. Multi-Wing only offer "stationary", "manually set" variable pitch hubs. 

Imagine the operational advantages for a Hovercraft using dual (side by side) "Reversible" and "In Flight Adjustable" Variable Pitch Propellers and an "In Flight Adjustable" Variable Pitch Fan combination. With this arrangement... you would require only one motor resulting  in an incredibly light setup which would provide you with full directional control of your Hovercraft going “Forward” or even in “Reverse”. The "In Flight Adjustable" Variable Pitch Fan would allow you to "Control Your Lift Air” at different motor RPM and in return… this ability would allow you to put all remaining HP into your Props when required, and achieve economical cruise at various motor RPM!

Points to note:

     The Hubs provide "Forward/Reverse Thrust". 

     They are "In Flight Adjustable"

     They are "Adaptable" to many other Prop/Fan blade designs (in development)

     The "Modular Construction" allows you to reconfigure many  Prop/Fan blade combinations without the need to purchase a completely new Hub. Only a few parts may need to be changed, removed or added.

     Can be a “Rotating Hub” or a “Rotating Shaft” design for a Prop or Fan unit.

     Can be operated by "Simple Push/Pull Cable" at operator station, or controlled by "many" other push/pull actuator arrangements ...
